Early Years

The Early Years services will endeavor to provide an approach that is holistic and responds to needs of our young community members in the Wimmera. We work alongside other local organisation and community members to ensure our families receive the support they need so their children can have the best start to their early development and educational years as possible.

Youth

Goolum Goolum offers an array of Youth services that aim to empower Young People to achieve positive outcomes in life. Having a strong cultural identity and connection to country is vital to the health, social and emotional wellbeing of our Indigenous youth. It is our hope for all our young people to realise their full potential and create their own positive futures.

Justice

Goolum Goolum Justice Services provides Youth and Adult services; working with individuals and families to provide support with Justice issues, advocacy when dealing with courts, fines and criminal matters. Our Justice services also work with our local Aboriginal community members in proactive ways to connect people to services and programs that supports diversion from reoffending and contributing factors that may lead to ongoing dealing with corrective services.

Housing

GGAC has and continues to provide a range of rental housing in the Wimmera for our community determined on a need’s basis. We continue to grow our housing portfolio, which is managed by the “GGAC Larr (Housing) Sub-Committee of the Board.

Community & Culture

GGAC acknowledges the imperative importance of providing our community with a range of opportunities to connect with family, friends, and other community members in a very Culturally significant way. We pride ourselves on facilitating programs, events and activities that bring our community together to celebrate a rich and strong local culture on the sacred lands of Wotjobaluk, Jaadwa, Jadawajali, Wergaia and Yupagulk.

Home support

GGAC provides Commonwealth Home Support Program Services (CHSP). We provide culturally appropriate Aged Care and Disability services to promote independence at home and in the community for our Elders and those with disabilities. Your quality of life can be significantly improved by contacting the CHSP team and arranging to have your intake and assessment completed. 


The Victorian Home and Community Care Program for Young People (HACC PYP) program is for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged under 50 years old who are not eligible for NDIS or Aged Care.
