While co-located with the Goolum Goolum Aboriginal Co-operative, the Hamilton Street Medical Clinic is open to all members of the community.
General Practitioner appointments are available for both Indigenous and non-Indigenous clients. Allied Health Services are for Indigenous clients only. Pathology services are available to Indigenous clients only.
The Hamilton Street Medical Clinic is a modern purpose-built facility, constructed in 2006 and updated in 2014. It has two consulting rooms, a comfortable waiting room and on-site parking.
The Hamilton Street Medical Clinic and Goolum Goolum Aboriginal Co-operative is a Bulk Billing Clinic.
Closure period: The Hamilton Street Medical Clinic will be closed from Wednesday 23rd of December and reopening on Wednesday 6th of January 2021. Please make sure that all your prescriptions are up to date and you have enough to cover the closure period.

Billing arrangements:
All services at this clinic are bulk billed. Please provide your Medicare card and if applicable healthcare or pension card to all appointments.
Telephone calls and communication with doctors:
Patients have access to the GP via telephone to discuss their medical care when a consultation is not deemed clinically necessary. The patient is to contact the Practice Manager who will speak directly to the doctor to decide if the patient is to be seen by the doctor or if phone contact would be the most appropriate. Electronic communication such as email is not utilised by this practice.

We operate a recall system for your health needs and follow up test results.

Your medical record is a confidential document. It is the policy of this practice to maintain security of personal health information at all times and to ensure that this information is only available to authorised members of staff. You have the right to access your personal health information, address such requests in writing to the practice manager.
