 Transition to Aboriginal Leadership

I am pleased to announce that after several months of planning and consideration that the Board has appointed our longest serving Staff member, Board director and proud Wotjobaluk man, John Gorton to be our next CEO. 



Johnny will officially take on the role from Monday, November 2nd , 2026.

It will be business as usual in the meantime, and we thank our current CEO Ants for his commitment to the transition, and he will be working closely with Johnny and the Executive Management team to ensure a smooth transition.

The board is looking forward to this next exciting chapter of Aboriginal leadership and self-determination as Goolum continues to expand its services.
